In 2018 Ohio Paper Folders received a grant from the Columbus Foundation for operations support. This grant will have a significant impact on our financial stability and our ability to continue programming and to expand our community outreach, such as teaching origami in public libraries and schools throughout Ohio. The mission statement of the Columbus Foundation says it all "The Columbus Foundation is here to help you help others through the most effective charitable giving possible. Our mission is to assist donors and others in strengthening and improving our community for the benefit of all its residents." For Ohio Paper Folders this is due to the support of the Ingram White Castle Foundation which works with the Columbus Foundation and benefits educational organizations.

In spring 2018 Ohio Paper Folders was awarded a grant from the Ohio Arts Council to assist us in our comunity origami outreach programs and our annual origami convention. Their mission statement: "The Ohio Arts Council is a state agency that funds and supports quality arts experiences to strengthen Ohio communities culturally, educationally and economically." Ohio Paper Folders is proud to be supported by such a strong state arts organization and pleased to receive their continuing support. We're also proud that our legislators recognize the importance of the arts in our communities and fund arts organizations.
